Who is Georgeth?
I transitioned into the world of UX/UI design within the gaming industry after honing my skills in marketing and communications during my immediate post-college years. My lifelong passion for gaming led me to a crucial realization that impacted my career trajectory: games are not just about visuals and storylines; they're about the emotions they evoke and the experiences they provide for players.
I currently design UX for Fortnite at Epic Games, where I work on real-time systems viewed by millions of players across console, PC, and mobile. My role spans interaction design, prototyping in Unreal Engine, cross-disciplinary collaboration, accessibility, and building scalable design patterns for fast-moving live-service environments. My approach blends systems thinking with a player-first mindset… I love digging into how people interpret various gameplay signals and shaping interfaces that communicate cleanly without overwhelming.
Whether I’m defining interaction logic for a new feature, refining cross-platform layouts, or establishing documentation for design standards, my goal is always the same: make complex systems feel intuitive, responsive, and most of all, FUN! I feel incredibly lucky that I am able to do so as a part of the team that creates one of my favorite games.
When I'm not cooking up some new designs at work, you can find me playing a horror game, going on hikes, or taking a ridiculous amount of pictures of my cats while they sleep.
